HERALD strengthens its Corporate M&A/Private Equity practice with the arrival of Arnaud Levasseur as partner and his team

HERALD has strengthened its Corporate M&A/Private Equity practice with the arrival of Arnaud Levasseur as partner and member of his team. This appointment, which comes just one month after that of Christophe Jacomin, is in line with the firm’s development strategy and bears witness to its dynamism.

 

Arnaud Levasseur, who specialises in M&A and private equity, is mainly involved in LBOs, expansion capital and mergers and acquisitions, both in France and internationally.

With more than fifteen years’ experience, Arnaud Levasseur has developed a recognised cross-functional practice in M&A/Private Equity and, more particularly, in all transactions with an international dimension.

Arnaud’s clients include financial investors, listed industrial players, family groups, entrepreneurs and managers, particularly in the healthcare and agri-food sectors. His team is able to advise them on their domestic and cross-border strategic transactions.

He joins the firm with Marion Salus, counsel, who has been working alongside him since 2013. Arnaud is already planning to expand the team with the recruitment of a new associate during 2024.

His career path

 

Arnaud Levasseur began his career as a lawyer with Paul Hastings (2007 – 2014), before moving on to Hogan Lovells (2015 – 2018) and Jeausserand Audouard (2018 – 2020). Prior to joining Herald, Arnaud was a partner at Mermoz Avocats.

He holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the Swedish business school of Jönköping (obtained in 2002) and from the Université Robert Schuman – Strasbourg III (obtained in 2003). He also holds a DJCE and a DESS in International Business, Commercial and Tax Law from Aix-Marseille University (2004).

This appointment brings the number of partners in the firm to 15. Further recruitments are planned for 2024 to meet the growing needs of the firm’s clients.
